Scott Guidry joined Murphy Appraisal Services in 2013. He is a native of Hammond, Louisiana and holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Louisiana State University. He appraises a wide variety of commercial property types while specializing in residential subdivisions, having appraised hundreds of subdivision developments. He is currently licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi and is a General Candidate for MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute.

Prior to joining Murphy Appraisal, he spent nearly a decade working as an environmental consultant and forester predominately in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. His environmental projects consisted of timber contract management, National Environmental Policy Act documents, Phase I environmental site assessments, jurisdictional wetland delineations, and threatened and endangered species surveys. Mr. Guidry was previously a Mississippi Board Registered Forester.

Mr. Guidry currently resides in Hammond with his wife and two sons. He is a member of the Advisory Board at St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School. In his free time, he enjoys travel, outdoor activities, and following LSU sports.
