Nathan S. Pierre, MAI, is a commercial real estate appraiser with over 7 years of experience. A native of Folsom, Louisiana, Nate joined Murphy Appraisal Services in 2017 after graduating from Loyola University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. In 2024, he earned the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.

Nate has an extensive record of valuing a wide range of property types, including agricultural, industrial, office, residential/multifamily, retail, and specialized properties such as religious, equestrian, and port facilities. He has also conducted valuations for EPA designated Superfund sites and numerous tracts of wetlands, demonstrating his expertise in complex and environmentally sensitive properties.

With over 1,000 completed appraisals, Nate brings a wealth of experience to every project. In addition to his appraisal work, Nate has also been a practicing real estate agent since 2017. Nate’s experience as a real estate agent provides him with valuable insights into market dynamics and buyer preferences, enhancing his appraisal skills.

Nate’s participation in the community is evident through his selection as a recipient of Loyola University of New Orleans’ 40 under 40 award and a University of New Orleans Economic Conference Commercial Real Estate Panelist.

He resides in his hometown with his growing family and enjoys being active, learning new things, and spending time with family/friends.
