Blake Ridings, MAI began his real estate career with Murphy Appraisal Services in January of 2008. Mr. Ridings is an MAI designated appraiser by The Appraisal Institute and presently working towards an AI-GRS desingation.

Over the course of his career Mr. Ridings has appraised a wide variety of commercial property types but has become especially proficient in the valuation of gas station/convenience store properties, truck stop casinos and assisted living facilities. Other appraisal experience includes industrial facilities, institutional properties, restaurants, net leased investment properties, along with single and multi-tenant retail and office properties.

Mr. Ridings is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in business. In addition to appraisal work he is also a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Louisiana licensure. Mr. Ridings and his wife Lauren reside in New Orleans with their two daughters.
