Chris Smiroldo, SRA, graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising/Liberal Arts in 1994.  After working in retail management for four years, Chris received his Louisiana realtor license in 1999 followed by his Louisiana State Certified Residential Appraiser designation in 2001.

Mr. Smiroldo currently resides in Mandeville, LA with his wife Hether and their children, Cole, Jake, and Kaylee.  He retains two office locations in Metairie, LA (Southshore Office) as well as Covingnton, LA (Northshore Office).  Chris’s appraisal career began in the Baton Rouge and Hammond markets but now appraises primarily in Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Tammany Parishes as his primary markets.  Secondary markets include:  St. Charles, St. Bernard, St. John, St. Charles, St. James, Plaquemines, Tangipahoa, Ascension, and Livingston Parishes.

Chris grew up in Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes, spent 13 years in Baton Rouge, LA, and has resided in St. Tammany Parish since 1998.  He is therefore well versed in residential appraisals of all types including: multi-million dollar historical homes, condominiums, multi-family residences, vacant land appraisals, etc.  Although a large portion of the appraisals he performs pertain to mortgage financing, he also specializes in foreclosure appraisals, individual property valuations, as well appraisals for legal proceedings such as successions, divorces, and insurance claims litigation.  Extracurricular activities include hanging out with his kids at the ballpark (almost non-stop), boating, exercise and vacations “whenever we can squeeze them in”.
