Scott Guidry joined Murphy Appraisal Services in 2013. He is a native of Hammond, Louisiana and holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Louisiana State University. Since joining Murphy Appraisal Services, he has appraised a wide variety of property types ranging from office, warehouse, retail, and multifamily properties to subdivisions and vacant land. He is currently licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Prior to joining Murphy Appraisal, he worked as a Senior Nuclear Equipment Operator at River Bend Station in St. Francisville, Louisiana. He also spent nearly a decade working as an environmental consultant and forester predominately in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. His environmental projects consisted of timber contract management, National Environmental Policy Act documents, Phase I environmental site assessments, jurisdictional wetland delineations, and threatened and endangered species surveys. Mr. Guidry was previously a Mississippi Board Registered Forester.

Mr. Guidry currently resides in Hammond with his wife and their two sons. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities and following LSU sports.
